Internship for MSc Communication & Media, Media Management Project

hired in february of 2025 as the weekend editor, i progressed to be junior editor the next year, taking on the additional responsibility of covering an additional news day every week. i was then nominated to temporarily fill the lead editor role, and have since been permanently promoted to managing editor.

after my internship with kerrang!, i begun freelancing and pitching kerrang! and altpress as a contributing writer. from there, i expanded to independent outlets such as DIY, the line of best fit, and new noise. in this position, i've done cover stories, features, reviews, lists, different styles of interviews, and more.

during my masters, i was tasked with a media management project in which i was responsible for providing services for a media company. i spent my time with uk publication, kerrang!, and wrote over 20 articles during my three month internship, doing interviews and reviews.
